Right. About that Snape vs. McGonagall fight that I promised. It's about a third of the way finished.
(As in unfinished.)
My downfall was two-fold; I injured my shoulder and that meant a week and a half of Computer Time = Pain = No Progress. The second problem was that I decided to use references for the comic (a laudable, but unfortunately ambitious thing to do). This involved a camera with a 10 second delay setting, a chopstick (playing the role of "Wand") and me waving aforementioned chopstick around like an idiot, fighting an invisible opponent. Yes, it looked as silly as it sounds. No, I won't be posting photos. So. A bit of delay. But things will be in proportion! Hooray!
UPDATE: Sorry, unknown object embedded in cornea meant a long wait in emergency to get it out, and a delay in art creation or anything involving bright light (like computers). And more delays are piling up. Postponed uploading until future notice - ie; when I'm happy with it. This may take a few more weeks...
PS: The tartan nightgown will not be making an appearance (the understudy: Plain Dressing Gown of As-of-Yet-Undetermined Colour, will be stepping into its place instead). Neither of the canon-correct ones proved to be that appealing and clashed dreadfully with the spells, and I say this as someone who has a particularly unfortunate pattern for their family tartan (seriously; look up the Ancient Hay tartan). No offence intended to either clan - which will remain unnamed because I fear attacks from the Waiting-For-My-Pottermore-Email people among you who haven't read McGonagall's backstory).
